The Reckless Aggressive Driver Program (RADEP) is a 12-hour in-person driver improvement program specifically for defendant motorists typically charged with non-alcohol-related reckless and/or aggressive driving offenses. The course is structured to accommodate court and state government traffic programs, as well as assist organizations with post-incident driver training needs. The course incorporates the National Safety Council’s premier 8-hour defensive driving course with the NSC’s unique, behavioral-focused Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving course to meet and exceed the 12-hour reckless/aggressive driver education program requirements (RADEP). The student must complete both parts of this course through Tri-City Driving School. There is no option for taking either of these classes online or with another company.
First, take the Virginia DMV-approved 8-hour driver improvement clinic listed under “Schedules Dates.” When registering for the RADEP class, you are registering for BOTH SESSIONS. Part 2 will be conducted on Sunday.
Part One of the 1 part (8-hour Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
Part Two will be on Sunday from 8:30 am to 12:30 p.m.
The student will receive a National Safety Council Certificate of Completion for each part of the course as they complete it. If there are any questions, call the office during business hours at 804-526-7798
