Teens 17 years or younger, in order to be accepted in the Behind the Wheel program with Tri-City Driving School you must: hold a permit for at least 8 months complete a 36-hour classroom course, and have a DEC-1 (driver ed completion certificate) have driven at least 45 hours, of which 15 occurred after sunset. if these conditions are met, you are now eligible for Teen Behind the Wheel to potentially receive a VA Drivers License.
TEEN BEHIND THE WHEEL $305.00( please note the processing fee has been added to the price)
The student will be paired with another teen and will drive and observe each session. Scheduling – priority is given to students who do NOT need to pick up and students who have had their permit for 9 months and are ready to receive a license.
Pick-up – is available for an additional fee.
If more classes are needed, you can discuss them further with the instructor. Once successfully completed 7 days of the Behind the Wheel course, a student will receive 180 temporary Drivers Licences from Tri-City Driving School LLC
To get started please call 804-526-7798 to schedule an appointment to come in and fill out the student registration form and bring all the required paperwork. Once all forms are received the instructor will go over scheduling options. Payment can be made via cash, card, or PayPal SORRY NO CHECKS. Payment is due on the day of registration in full. Booking Policy:
Bookings close 2 hours before the session starts.
Cancellation Policy: We have a no-cancellation/NO-REFUND policy. Students who do not show up for their scheduled class/course or private appointment without 24-hour notification will not receive a new date. However, students who request a reschedule 24 hours prior to their scheduled class/course or lesson will be provided an opportunity to reschedule.
