​The Tri-City Driving School has joined together to provide you with a fun and interesting online experience to complete defensive driving traffic school. offers a comprehensive Defensive Driving Course, online, also referred to as our Driver Improvement Clinic, to individuals who have been assigned by the court or the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or who volunteer to complete our driving improvement course. When you complete the clinic, you may be eligible for a well-deserved rate reduction on your auto insurance policy, as well as earn positive points to offset your demerit points on your driving record. Once you register, there are NO REFUNDS. COST IS $85.00) 4 Easy Steps for Online Driving Improvement Class: Register, make your payment securely online, complete the course online ANYTIME (24 hours / 7 days per week), and take the final test at home. (New Regulation due to COVID-19: testing can be taken at home now.) Once you complete the online driver improvement course, we will process your certificate of completion that same day, email it, and/or mail it to you for an additional charge. We can even FedEx your certificate right away if you need to get it sent to the court or DMV in a hurry for an extra cost.
